However, the least I have paid while traveling with my wife for gas is $4.99 a gallon for Regular Gas somewhere likely in Nevada some where or maybe that was in Twin Falls Idaho. Gas prices vary from over 7 dollars a gallon some places in California (even for Regular gas) to like I said $4.99 a gallon in some places like Nevada and Idaho.
However, it's important to be realistic about how much you are going to be paying for gas which depends upon what kind of car or truck you are driving, especially if you are traveling long distances by a vehicle of some sort. So, be realistic in your trip planning for vacations this summer (and always regarding gas prices) as well as food and hotel prices as you travel so you don't get financially stranded somewhere along the way.
Some people think flying is the answer but then again be sure what question you are really asking because flying is dangerous simply because you could be much more exposed to both Covid and potential violence on a plane from people crazy from two years of covid restrictions.
For example, I think the main reason we are having so many shootings is just too many problems have aggravated people along the way the last two years in all the changes.
Some people will find ways to survive and stay sane through anything and others can't or won't. So, always be careful of those who cannot survive what is happening now on earth and are about to self destruct and take others with them.
