Ukraine thinks of Putin's effect on Ukraine similar to Stalin's when he starved them in his time

because whether Putin Starves Ukrainians or freezes them without electricity and water like he is doing now the effect is exactly the same-  Dead Ukrainians if they cannot afford gas or diesel generators to survive this winter. If you don't have electricity generally you don't have water either because water freezes in Ukraine without the heat from electricity or natural gas in Ukraine in the winters there. Water pipes will freeze in all homes and businesses without power and natural gas or wood to keep those places warm. Without water you cannot survive the winters in Ukraine and without power you might not survive the winters in Ukraine in large cities either. However, out in the country you might survive with wood burning stoves and candles and lanterns if you have a cistern of water inside kept warm enough to have water to use so it doesn't freeze.
