As you go through life often you think that things cannot get any stranger than they presently are. No, you are wrong. No matter how bad things get it can always get worse.
However, if you don't have hope often people end their lives one way or another, often through taking risks and dying in an accident or on purpose.
So, having a positive attitude (especially after 30 or 40 years old) is usually necessary to live into your 70s 80s, and 90s and 100s.
So, yesterday I looked out to see something really strange and unexpected which was yellow ribbon about 1 or 2 feet wide in the trees of our neighbors. My wife called them to let them know 50 to 100 feet of this stuff was caught in their big oak trees in their backyard.
So, my wife called and because I have enough tools to build another house if I ever needed to (But I'm now 75 so that's unlikely at this point). But, I suppose my son or my daughter could use these tools to build a house on some land at some point if they wanted to just like my father and I did on several occasions.
So, my wife offered my help because I have so many tools of various kinds she thought I would have something that reached high enough into those trees to bring down 50 to 100 feet of 2 foot wide yellow ribbon down somehow.
Because I'm 75 I decided to take our house cleaner with us who has been with us since 2014 now. So, is very capable and strong and we get along great. So, we get there and I bring down the first piece of this stuff and I realize it isn't plastic but a 2 foot wide 50 to 100 foot long piece of yellow paper you use for decorating for a party. So, what I'm thinking is that someone had a party and this thing blew away houses or blocks away from us.
But, If I had known it was paper I would have known it would rip apart in the rain storm coming starting on Saturday and not worried about putting out all that effort to make things come down with our housekeeper for our neighbors.
But, I suppose that is how you learn what is really going on in any situation by going and seeing what it is really.
So, it seems like Stranger things keep happening every day in each of our lives but also in everyone's lives.
I firmly believe one of the most important things in life is to be very adaptable which allows you to survive all these very strange things one by one as you go through life.
