Are humans through AI creating a replacement for biological life on earth?

I don't really know the answer to this question fully. However, it might be important to note that we started making things like Swords out of the rock people to kill each other with and nails to build houses with and iron cauldrons to cook food with and other pots and pans thousands of years ago now. These, to me, were the first evolutions of the rock people that humans made along with Gold and other jewelry. yes. Precious stones are also part of the rock people evolution beyond swords and nails and Cauldrons and pots and pans and cars and airplanes and boats and motorcycles and other things made of metal like Computer chips etc. etc. etc.

So, are we creating a replacement for biological life on earth or are we planning on co-existing with what we are creating?

And will that work?

Later: I realized I misspoke about computer chips which are made mostly of Silicon which is also a part of the Rock people evolution here on earth. So, AI is resident in programming in these silicon wafers unless maybe they are functioning as Quantum Computers and I don't fully understand how quantum computers actually work at this point because I haven't studied the technology enough.
