The biggest realization for me was finding out from my doctor that 90% or more colds now are Covid Colds (whatever that really means). So, my doctor will test anyone who has symptoms like sore Throat, runny nose, or coughing of any kind simply because over 90% of the time now he has found that it's a Covid Cold of some sort.
What does this mean?
Not being a doctor the best I can come up with is you might be sick from 2 to 4 weeks with whatever cold you have, especially if it's a runny nose or Coughing.
So, hopefully, if you test positive you can avoid other people getting this too because once they do (especially if they are over 45, they won't be able to do much the next 2 to 4 weeks if they want to stay out of the hospital.
So, getting real about Covid Colds and learning to survive them is a part of how to survive this winter too.
Because once you get one of these things you aren't going to be doing much if you want to stay out of the hospital and you are over 45 years old.
So far, I know 4 people who tested positive for Covid and hopefully no more will get it in this progression.
They don't know where it came from just know they have it once they tested for it.
I think wearing a mask in all public places now and washing or disinfecting your hands a lot might be a good idea now (at the very least until Spring of 2025).
