They no longer are going to listen to what a man tells them without thinking deeply on whatever it is.
I actually think this is a good thing. For example, I wanted my daughters to say "NO" to any man for a variety of reasons. Most of the time a woman needs to say "NO" to men anyway so they might as well get used to saying "No" to me. This was a gift I gave my daughters so they could think for themselves just like I was always taught in the 1950s.
My father told me that I would have to make decisions the rest of my life because I was going to be a man when I grew up and that I just had to keep making decisions the rest of my life with whatever information I had at the time. And if new information arose I could often change my decision to something else when I had new information that was more relevant and important regarding that decision.
I have always found this to be important.
I watch people ruin their lives agonizing over the decisions they make when usually you just have to try something and move on until you get better information anyway. There is almost no situation in life where you actually have enough information to make ANY decision so you just have to make decisions on the wing on the fly and hope for the best.
From my present perspective life is like a Science Experiment. Some experiments work out and some don't but:
"Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained"
If you never try anything in life nothing ever happens in your life.
nothing ventured nothing gained.
