Another famous atheist was George Carlin who could go on for hours making people laugh about his experiences growing up in Catholic School.

However, my experience is quite different than these men simply because I tend to like some aspects of the Catholic Church just like I like Some Aspects of Tibetan Buddhism because both tend to support the family long term.

I think people who take good care of their kids are important to human civilization long term so religions that take care of their kids are important to civilization ongoing.

For example, I was able to trace my family on my father's side back to 1580 in Switzerland and mostly people owned their own businesses and had 5 to 10 kids each from 1580 all the way down to my Grandparents who had 5 children. And then I had 3 biological kids, one adopted Daughter, two step kids and two God Daughters along the way. So, family is a part of my ancestry too as well as owning businesses.
