The sneaker waves are really bad today (Sunday) so if you are a tourist or a local really watch out today

I had climbed down a trail through the rocks to visit the beach and then I sat on a rock with my feet in the sand. But then, a wave almost got me so I realized I better get our dog and me off the beach. As I was climbing up the rocks the 10 to 15 foot waves outside generated a sneaker wave of unbelievable proportions which at low tide (nearly) washed up past all the beaches into the rocks. Luckily, I got a Video of this to share with family and friends but I was scared for a moment it was even going to sweep me off the rocks above the beach at that point. Amazing!

This is happening from Big Sur all the way up past San Francisco to Point Reyes above San Francisco and Marin County in northern California.

Up to 30 foot waves expected between now and Christmas Day especially Christmas Eve. So, be safe and don't let the waves get you locally whether you are a tourist or a local. I was surprised as high as I was on the rocks it almost got me and my dog but somehow we were okay.
