So, what's left is mostly 2 to 3 foot drifts but most snow 1 foot or under this morning has either melted or the snow plows have built it up into 3 foot mounds in the center of roads until it can better melt away.
I checked the weather tonight and they only expect another 1 1/2 inches of snow overnight so I put our car back nearer to our room so we don't have to walk so far to use it.
As far as I know Everitt Memorial Highway is closed at Macbride Springs and the Castle Lake Road is closed at the first gate so you can't drive up onto the mountain now above about 4000 to 5000 feet elevation right now at least until further notice.
Not sure about Mt. Shasta Ski park or Snowman Summit on Highway 89 though.
However, lots more snow is falling tonight and tomorrow above 4000 feet in elevation.
