It's likely that some beings in the Galaxy see the human race as a disease spreading through the Galaxy

If you think about how the human race has been with planets we tend to first "Adapt to the flora and fauna of a planet" then we make that world in our image (which often isn't good for the native wildlife) and then when there are too many of us like now, we spread our way of doing things to other planets.

So, from one point of view the human race would be like a disease spreading through the galaxy inhabitable planet by inhabitable planet in this sense.
