I was listening to the Thai Buddhist teacher in "The White Lotus" He says something like we are all drops and when we die we go back to being the ocean where the drops came from. I think this is a beautiful statement simply because my path to Enlightenment was Soul traveling throughout this galaxy.
After 10 years of doing this from about age 20 to 30 I realized that I was already everywhere I wanted to go to by Soul Traveling.
How is this possible?
I realized that the universe is not physical but rather "the Mind of God" might be the best way to say it.
Or even more useful the universe is "Part of the mind of God" maybe not all of it because there are universes of universes of universes likely.
Also, it brought me back to translations from Tibetan where I got the above title which is my favorite Buddhist Prayer because you are asking for all BEINGS in the universe past, present and future to have bliss and the cause of bliss.
However I was thinking that Bliss is not a word used much among THE ENGLISH Speaking peoples of the world.
So, I realized that:
"May all beings be happy and have the cause of all Happiness" might be more useful for English speaking people since Bliss isn't used usually in the way that Happiness is.
Everyone wants to be happy and not miserable. This is the goal of staying alive as a human being (at least one of the goals).
So, I'm thinking saying:
MAY ALL BEINGS BE HAPPY AND HAVE THE CAUSE OF HAPPINESS ALWAYS
THIS MIGHT BE MORE USEFUL FOR ENGLISH SPEAKING PEOPLE AT LEAST THE WAY WE USE LANGUAGE.
