This is pretty common across the U.S. for people who sadly believed "ANYTHING" that Trump said on the Campaign trail. I always knew he was a "USED Car Salesmen selling the world Lemons, so I always have felt very sorry for ANYONE who believed ANYTHING TRUMP EVER SAID, because I always knew he was lying.
The most honest thing I ever heard him say was likely. "I hope I don't become another Herbert Hoover who took the U.S. into the Great Depression through Tariffs."
I think this statement is totally prophetic on his part because he is taking the best economy in the world presently and the ONLY big one not already in a recession or great depression INTO a recession or Great Depression directly through Tariffs.
Trump's love of Tariffs (like Herbert Hoover's) is likely taking us all right now into another Great Depression or Recession as I write this because he is too stubborn to change his ways to save us from this serious serious problem worldwide.
