Cultural Anthropology

Examines human cultures, societies, and social structures, often through ethnographic fieldwork

end quote:

For Me, Philosophy led to psychology which led to Cultural anthropology which made me interested in staying alive longer here on earth.

Also, a friend of mine was a student at UCLA studying History of Religion so this comparative religion that he often talked about comparing all religions on earth helped me a lot.

Then I began asking questions like: "What was religion like before Christianity and Judaism and even Buddhism.

This took me to Shamanism worldwide in all the tribes before they starting growing food for themselves. They were hunter Gatherers always moving around because they couldn't survive otherwise.

So, this led to questions like: "What was life like before Buddhism Christianity and Brahmanism and other more organized religions that began after people started growing food?

These questions really stimulated me in becoming more interested in staying alive as a young man here on earth.

I began to see how universal suffering is for people at least up to age 30 or so. and even now here in the U.S. they say "You can expect to live to 90 if you first survive to 30".

I began to think about why this was always true?

All these questions began to have answers which allowed me to create a way forward in my life and not self destruct like so many people did in the 1960s and 1970s whether that was through the Viet Nam War by volunteering or getting drafted or fast cars or fast women or drugs or whatever risky thing that they were doing at the time.

I also had this terminal macho gene myself just like my father and grandfather and uncles. So, I wanted to know what to do with all this intelligence and intensity that I was raised with in a mostly Swiss Family.

Then my mother's parents were pure Scottish (all their parents were Scottish from Scotland. So, this more Celtic Way of thinking and being that reminded me more of Merlin the Magician and the knights of the Round Table and King Arthur and Guinevere was there too in my life.

So, making sense of all of this was my path to deciding to stay alive here on earth and to create a life I could stand to live just like everyone who actually survived the last 25,000 years here on earth.

The point is: 'Don't be a victim of others if you can help it!

Be the Captain of your own Ship and the Creator of your own destiny.

Don't be a victim or you are just another one of the living dead we see all over the world who have no hope and walk on sort of like Zombies.

Don't be a Victim!

Create the world you want to live in.

You might not be able to save anyone else but yourself and your family.

But, NEVER BE A VICTIM!

By God's Grace
