Applying the Scientific method to everything in life I have found is amazingly valuable

Why?

Because somehow converting everything in our lives to Hypotheses, Theories and Laws I find extremely useful, even in regard to spiritual things.

For example, I tend to see everything in life as a science experiment. Sort of like: "nothing ventured nothing Gained".

So, you have to experiment with life to learn anything at all or else you just go through life being a child and not a full adult.

We meet people like this who have never ventured ANYTHING in their lives ever. Their worlds are very small and their points of view are often quaint and maybe they have never driven or walked more than 25 miles from where they were born ever because the world scared them outside of their county.

Then there are people who are constantly testing their reality in various ways and the opposite extreme is to be so experimental that you die surfing a 100 foot wave somewhere on earth.

However, in between never leaving your area for more than 25 miles your whole life or dying surfing a 100 foot tall wave there is a lot of space where you can learn all sorts of things about life and not die doing it.

So, it is that area where you can experiment with life to see who you are and who people are everywhere you go in life on earth or beyond.

And strangely enough, the single most important thing you need to apply the scientific method to is all types of spiritual and religious things. Why?

Because otherwise you get trapped in all sorts of useless superstition that often shortens or ends your life in some way.

So, testing your reality for problems is important so you can be a whole person and not driving down the road so to speak with 4 flat tires that then catch fire because you cannot drive down the road with 4 flat tires without them either burning off or wearing off or catching fire and then what are you going to do?

Reality has a scientific basis. Just because you aren't sure what that scientific basis is right now doesn't mean it doesn't exist. When you find the real basis for your life you will live a long time like me likely.

If you don't find enough information out about yourself and the world around you often then you are gone soon.

So, "Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained" is the mark of an opportunist who checks out the world around them and moves forward to better and better things.

Mostly the only thing that limits us at all is the way we perceive the universe around us.

the limitation is mostly mental and spiritual depending upon the person.

So, if you don't try to find out what is really going on inside yourself and around yourself and the world basically "Nothing ever happens in your life".
