I think I have only rented a Jet Ski Twice in my life. About the same for snowmobiles

 The first time was in Santa Barbara with my youngest daughter and Son and one of my daughter's friends. 

My daughter saw a dolphin while we were riding on the Jet skis and it scared her for some reason so she got off the one she and I were riding and got on back of the one my son was driving with her friend behind. So, they had three people on that jet ski. We rode out of the harbor there at Santa Barbara out into the open ocean. It's good to have more than one jet ski if you are out in the open ocean so one can tow the other in if it breaks down for safety.

Another time we rented several jet skis for family members. This time my Older daughters boyfriend took off too fast and then I saw my youngest daughter flying through the air off the jet ski at about 40 miles per hour sideways in the air.

Later a boat cut in front of my wife and I and the wake from the boat caused our jet ski to start to turn over (also, the lightning was striking then into Lake Tahoe which is where we all were then because we had rented an air b n b for the family for a few days up at Lake Tahoe.

Well, when the boats wake caused the jet ski I was piloting to start to turn over I just jumped off because I knew if it went upside down the engine couldn' t run after that. So, my wife was behind me hanging on and went pretty deep when I jumped off to save the engine from not being able to start up. also, the jet ski we were on had something wrong with it too. I could tell when we rented it someone had done something to it because it wasn't steering right or something too.

So, then we came up and my wife had gone really deeper than I had in the water and I tried to get back up on this jet ski but I was too old to do this like I used to. So, my older daughter's boyfriend jumped from his jet ski onto our jet ski and helped me and my wife up on board.

It isn't very easy to get up on a jet ski if you are over 50 or 60 years old by the way so if you are this old think about this before you even rent a jet ski. We all aren't under 30 the rest of our lives by the way.

So, now we are all wet and it's raining and lightning is striking the water so we were pretty happy to return our rental Jet Skis to the rental place and get away from the summer rain and summer lightning storm.
