However, the most difficult cactus to deal with is the Cholla Cactus because they are so small (the barbs) that once they get into your leg of feet you usually can never get them out because of how the barbs on the sides are These are some scary images of people caught by cholla cactuses:
Also, do NOT wear beach walkers or sandals anywhere near these Cholla either because the fallen pieces of Cholla go right through the bottom of a beach walker sandal. In fact, I wouldn't wear any sandals or go barefoot anywhere near these cactuses. I speak from painful experiences. And the worst is when you get hit by them off road riding on motorcycles in the deserts. the worst cases of people being covered almost completely with cholla cactuses is people who went to close to a bush and got covered with these things.
