If you are interested in the historical Count De Saint Germain of France who knew King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette of France before they died one of the more interesting books researched(I have a copy from the early 1900s by Isabel Cooper Oakley that she researched in France and likely in England too.
In the religion I was raised which is a part of the Saint Germain Foundation, Saint Germain is a key figure who they believe was the Count De Saint Germain of France but also Francis Bacon of England who was the illegitimate son of Queen Elizabeth I of England. There is also the Bi-Literal Code of Francis Bacon:
Francis Bacon was considered to be the best with codes until World War II when machine codes were created in Germany and broken in England and in the U.S. by NCR during World War II. Breaking these machine codes helped win World War II in Europe by the way.
