I can remember first hearing this phrase and wondering what it meant. However, now I experience it all or most of the time.
The basis of "Drinking Enlightenment's nectar" is actually very simple: It is just being kind to yourself and all life in the Universe. and that's it really.
This kindness is sort of like Enlightenment's money so to speak where it is the most valuable thing you will ever own. Maybe own isn't the right word.
Maybe "Generate" is the right word so you might see yourself as a light bulb that can generate light so the people in every dark room can see the truth of their lives and not live in the dark anymore.
"Know the Truth and the Truth Will Set You Free!"
I started out being raised a Mystical Christian by my parents. Then I started to realize just how racist most protestant Christians can be. Then I realized how Catholics have different but equal problems to Protestants and then I realized I didn't want to contribute to Racism the way most Christians tend to worldwide whether they realize they are doing this or not.
So, I began to search for a path forward that didn't contain racism (real or imagined) and for me this path came to be Tibetan Buddhism.
Is it possible to be a Tibetan Buddhist and still be a racist? Yes. It is possible just like it is quite common for Christians to be racist especially if they are Protestants.
However, adding Tibetan Buddhism to the Mystical Christian person I already was took me directly to:
"Drinking Enlightenment's Nectar"
which I would say is the same thing as "Living in the Grace of God 24 hours a day the rest of your life and after".
By God's Grace
