Yes. It's true in all centuries.
However, we are dealing with new variables in the extreme. These two new variables are:
GLOBAL CLIMATE CHAGNES
AND
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
And nothing has prepared for the almost infinite changes that these two variables are bringing now to earth.
Which is worse?
I would say in the short run global Climate changes are worse because they are beginning to collapse governments and to permanently end Household insurance policies worldwide or to make insurance so expensive that the average homeowner can no longer afford it.
For example, one of our fire insurance policies went up 4 times and we know people whose fire insurance has also gone up 10 times in one year!
This is not sustainable for most people and will cause them to lose their mortgages on their homes nationwide whether it is flood insurance or fire insurance or earthquake insurance or whatever it is.
IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD INSURANCE THEN YOUR BANK WILL ABANDON YOU AND END YOUR MORTGAGE!
THIS IS THE SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS NOT ONLY IN THE U.S. BUT ALSO ALL OVER THE WORLD NOW!
In the Long run, However, Artificial Intelligence will be the most damaging to humans (at least at this point in human evolution).
Why?
Because most people do not understand how much things are changing and exactly how fast and often are going to be caught in the lurch of these changes with their pants down so to speak.
