One way is to teach your kids at home. Doing this allows them to participate in the structure of their learning process more.
However, it is true some children need more structure than others. However, the world is now changing so fast for everyone that becoming a self starter in regard to what you want to do or even think about might be necessary for success financially or in any way in the world we are now moving into.
Often being home schooled actually allows someone in college to do actually better than someone who went to public school.
Private school and home schooling often can be equal in how they help you in going to college and making decisions in life.
All my older children were home schooled from 1980 to 1985 and they all got college degrees who were home schooled eventually and were successful in their lives and all are married or married with children and all have at least one bachelor's degree and one also has a law degree and is a practicing lawyer in Oregon.
But, being a self starter and entrepreneurial is often necessary these days to be a success at almost anything.
So, if you have this aspect to your personality it is good to develop it so you can financially survive better and have a better life in general throughout your adult life.
