It's always important to be able to think outside the box, especially these days.

Why?

Because everything is changing so fast that most people can't keep up with it. The best way I can say this is you have to create your own reality like Start your own business.

Even people into AI were saying this how you have to be very entrepreneurial  in the way you think about employment because mostly it's about being a Contractor more than having any one job now. without this entrepreneurial bent or point of view many people are going to fail now as the AI changes set in.

So, you are more going to be contractors making short term contractors likely with firms who need your expertise than anything else which is similar to being an Electrical Contractor or other kind of building contractor where you work for many different people on contracts during any one year. Some times you have a long term contract that might last a year but this is really rare in most cases. Most contracting lasts a day or a week at most and AI contracting might be like this too or the types of work that will be available in the future more.

Entry level jobs may all be filled with AI and no longer available, so if you aren't a self starter to begin with it's possible you aren't going to find jobs that are going to pay very much at all.
