Looking out to sea from our Maui hotel room

 This is a really nice experience watching all the people below swimming in the pools and in the ocean or whatever they are doing. 

I had some trouble last night with the air conditioning after being in various kinds of air conditioning all day yesterday from Kauai to our Maui Hotel. So, I turned off the air conditioning completely and this cleared up my lungs so I didn't get a chest cold or flu or bronchitis.

However, this created another problem with my wife because she was too hot without the air conditioning so I opened the door and closed the screen to the terrace. Then she didn't feel safe and maybe me neither so I closed that once again. So, then she still wasn't happy and it was 5 am so I said "I'm awake now" and got up and started blogging at 5 am.

Then it turned out that really wasn't what she was worried about what she was really worried about is her last knee replacement. I told her that no medical fix is permanent and that it is better than being in a wheelchair or on crutches the rest of her life.

She got what I was saying that everything is relative and about quality of life. Without enough quality of life people die young.

Without my present wife I likely would have died at age 50 but because I'm with her I'm still alive at 77 1/2 years old.

Don't be upset life isn't perfect enjoy what you have that helps keep you alive.

If you don't you soon will be dead at any age.

Luckily I met my present wife when I was 46 so she forced me to get health insurance immediately which I hadn't had in any regular way my whole life. 

This then saved my life when I got a heart virus at age 50.

So, I'm alive because my wife insisted I have health insurance.

Life is funny like that. It's the little things that keep you alive that you might never suspect when you are young and foolish and macho.

So, I recommend getting full health insurance by your 40s so you don't just die or go bankrupt paying your hospital bills.

However, it is also true I was paying 1800 dollars a month at age 64 to have full health care insurance which is also why Trump is being such a dick about Obamacare which was saving people's lives all over the country for Republicans and Democrats until now.

So, now just as many Republicans as Democrats are going to die without it.

However, luckily now, I am on Medicare since I'm 65 years old so 12 years so far.
