I remember being at Stanford Hospital (college campus hospital) in California on a guerney waiting for a heart operation (actually 2 operations) the first was an angiogram which was okay with me because I got to watch a scope on a TV travel up to my heart from a femoral Artery in my right leg then in 1998. But, I remember the fear of about 50 people waiting on Guerneys for heart operations that day and how they thought it might be their last day. So, these people were wondering if they were going to be alive tomorrow then.
It was at this point where I prayed to God and promised God that if I survived all this somehow that I would start a blog online to sing God's Praises for saving my life. In fact, I was the only person I knew of who survived this type of heart virus that year. So, Thank You God!
So, I got my life back in May of 1999 and then in June of 1999 I began my first blog at geocities.com which doesn't exist anymore (as of around 2007 to 2009 I believe).
So, this began a relationship with Blogging that has continued for I guess 26 years now since 1999.
So, at first my blogging was all in HTML which means I had to program everything which takes at least 90% more time than blogging here at Blogger.com (Blogspot).
Here at blogspot in 2007 when I started here they had an encoder which means it will program your site for you. So, mostly it's about finding how to interact with an encoder which is about 90% easier than learning how to program in HTML.
However, some people love programming in HTML and don't care that it takes 90% longer to do anything. However, to me, my time is valuable to me for other things.
However, I do keep HREF HTML coding for making a links page every week or so when I have time to share with people the most read articles of that week. The links at the top of this page tell you the most read things automatically (which was programmed by my daughter who is a Video Movie Editor who now lives in Europe with her daughter and husband.) The links at the top of this page are for the most read articles in the last month or so. The most read articles of all time are to your left at this site.
So, blogging here is relatively easy for the average person. I think if you can let your car automatically drive for you sometimes then you likely can run a blog here at this group of sites (Blogger.com) (Blogspot).
Because the sites are about that tech friendly to use.
