It's presently 53 degrees on the coast where I live going to 59 degrees today. However, the sun is out which is much better than Tule Fog yesterday

So, it's nice not to have to worry about not seeing the road while coming south from Redding anymore. To see the sun is nice. IN mt. Shasta there at around 10 am right now Saturday it is 44 going to 55 there today which is very warm for Mt. Shasta this time of year. Also, it was 28 degrees last night there too.

But, just being here on the coast in the warm weather with the sun out with no freezing temperatures at all is nice. For example, here on the northern California coast the coldest night time temperature is only 42 degrees with 59 the lowest high this week too. So, if you are in the sun like we are now it's quite pleasant out which is great!

Our landscaper got a bulldozer to fill in the 4 foot deep cracks in our hillside from the flooding too at our Santa Barbara House down the coast about 5 hours from where we live most of the time near San Francisco on the coast. He also added boulders to hold back the soil should another atmospheric river hit to keep the soil in place and added small rocks to one area where trucks are parked which is an overflow parking area to our house and driveway in Santa Barbara. There was flooding there when 10 inches of rain came down about 3 or 4 weeks ago now and it flooded our den so we ran fans and heaters in the den for the carpets to dry out over the week we were there.

It's nice to be here in the sun even though it is only 53 degrees right now here no the Northern California coast!
