Pray without Ceasing

I find this is often useful.

For example, my favorite prayer is a Buddhist Prayer  which goes something like this:

another version replaces Bliss with Happiness but the Bliss one I learned from Tibetan Lamas in the U.S. India and Nepal when I was there for 4 months in 1985 and 1986

May all beings attain Bliss and the Cause of Bliss

May all beings be free of suffering and the Cause of Suffering

May all beings never be without the Supreme Bliss and is free from all

Near and far all grasping and Aversion

(Then you complete it with)

By this Merit may I become like all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the Ten Directions and three times.

(The ten directions are a way to navigate in space where up and down don't exist. The three times are the past, present and future).

I find myself (since around 1980) waking up in the morning giving this prayer. I find it calms my mind amazingly to see all life in the universe in the past, present and future experiencing Bliss and the Cause of blis (or Happiness and the Cause of Happiness).

So, for me praying without ceasing means praying 24 hours a day all the time generating compassion for All Life in the Universe.

It's Amazingly powerful by the way and makes your subconscious mind much more useful to being alive and happy and peaceful and blissful.

By God's Grace
