Later note on Friday January 2nd 2026: They found Erica Fox's body aged 55 near Davenport, California just north of Santa Cruz California. What is strange about this is the ocean currents shouldn't have taken her there. However, someone says they saw a great white shark with a body in it's mouth in this area for some reason too. So, what do we make of all this? Since there are no real witnesses it is hard to say exactly what happened here even for investigators. the only way the body could be identified 1 week later is by the Shark Band she wore and by the type of Wet Suit and electric watch (maybe and Apple Watch) she wore while swimming in the ocean with a group of other swimmers within 100 yards of her near Lover's Point, California which is across the Monterey Bay from Santa Cruz and Davenport. Very strange in some ways unbelievable story except that this really happened!

My daughter and her boyfriend from Texas were visiting this area traveling around the area and saw the fire engines and wondered what was going on. So, I looked up this incident to see if the 55 year old Blonde Blue eyed lady swimmer was ever found. Not yet, it seems as of 9:30 pm Sunday night. They will continue the search for her tomorrow (local rescue people there).
