Light rain is expected Saturday and Sunday and Heavy rain expected for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday here on the coast near San Francisco, California.
It makes sense because the atmospheric Rivers are starting to move southward like they usually eventually do over the course of the Winter Time here. We often get 100 mph winds off the ocean and up to 30 to 40 foot waves and sneaker waves from now until around April off and on. Power often goes out in the forested Areas during these winds off the ocean from Trees going down into Power lines. Though some areas have underground power that wouldn't be affected that much by Trees going down usually most places have telephone poles with the 1000 volt lines along the top of them and transformers transforming the electricity from 1000 volts down to 220 (or more realistically 240 from what I have recently been reading about).
