Trump and Manifest Destiny

 Or the DonRoe Doctrine.

One of the strangest things about Trump is his DonRoe Doctrine patterned after the Monroe doctrine which states that European powers especially but also all powers outside of North and South America could keep hands off the Western Hemisphere or experience a war with the U.S. over the Western Hemisphere.

Trump appears to be doing this too now with what he calls the DonRoe Doctrine. 

On one level it is logical what he is doing because the only source right now that is explored properly for Rare Earth minerals used in AI is in China. But, the biggest source of Rare Earth minerals left outside of China is Greenland. 

And so according to the DonRoe Doctrine Greenland is in the Western Hemisphere with Venezuela, Canada and North and South America so it is fair game according to Trump (at least at this point).

So, on the one hand it appears that we are at war with the world and on another hand it appears that we are ONLY at war with any country outside the western Hemisphere.

VERY STRANGE!

However, Trump is perceived around the world as both a friend and an enemy often at the same time which is maybe a more normal way for any country to be perceived for the last 5000 years too if you study history.

The U.S. was always an anomaly and a happy anomaly for the world in many ways because of our democracy.

However, if you study our history it was very fitful and unpredictable in many ways. There have been many eras and many people have died (like Native Americans) who would say that the U.S. has been a Bad thing mostly for them.

However, even this is a two edged sword.

So, Trump is after all something that Descartes Philosophical truism fits perfectly (at least the 2nd part of this which is: "There is nothing so bad that no good may come from it!"

So, to the American Corporate world Trump might be an economic Boon but to the people of America they could all mostly starve to death under Trump without any medical care at all.

So, this is the total philosophic truism that works here in this situation too:

"THERE IS NOTHING SO GOOD THAT NO BAD MAY COME OF IT AND NOTHING SO BAD THAT NO GOOD MAY COME OF IT."

THIS ALSO APPLIES TO TRUMP REGARDING SOMETHING BAD HAVING SOME GOOD THINGS COME FROM IT.

So, Trump is a paradox and a crazy old fox doing what is good for Trump. But, for some people (the very very rich) this crazy old fox is useful to the richest people on earth who often live in the U.S. and Europe.

So, as strange as it is for most poorer people to starve to death and to die without medical care under Trump he also might be keeping the U.S. Competitive with China by doing some of these things.

However, pretty soon we are going to need someone doing something else because otherwise everything Trump is doing will be a complete disaster on all levels with no good coming at all for anyone including the very rich in the U.S. and in Europe.
