Because the FED needs to be non-political in order for the Global economy to be as good as it has been since World war II. So, what Trump is trying to do is Herbert Hoover kind of move that caused the last Great Depression starting with Tariffs then the stock market collapse and then people starving to death here in the U.S. and around the world because there were no jobs for people to make money to stay alive then.
This is what Trump will do to the Fed if he messes with it anymore than he already has.
Once again, Trump is moving towards his goal of "Only the rich will survive what happens next."
MY wife's comment is: "Even the Rich didn't survive often the Great Depression". Her comment was people jumping out of windows in New York city who had bought stocks on margin and were completely ruined by the collapse so they died like flies then too.
Trump is creating the same thing now by messing with the Fed.
