Which is real? Dreams or Reality?

I know on one level this is a silly question.

However, different religions see this differently.

For example, to a traditional Australian Aborigine dreams are reality and reality is a dream which I find is interesting to think in this way. I can see the value of this especially if your life is physically very difficult like it might have been for them down through time in Australia.

Then to a Tibetan Buddhist both reality and dreams are both real and unreal simultaneously. This is the difference I think regarding Tibetan Buddhism that most people might not fully understand.

Then a Christian might believe that this world is hell and they are waiting for Heaven and working towards going to heaven.

I find that "Samsara Sucks" which is what many people in Asia think too that you cannot ever really be happy here on earth.

However, I have personally found that as long as I am living with the Angels all around me that I can also live in Heaven here on earth all the time or almost all the time.

Even if my wife is upset like lately because she is worried I might die and that her knee replacement isn't working exactly right I still can be in heaven with my angels here on earth.

However, she is a very brilliant woman and very capable and so being around me sort of calms her down and so we are good together because I'm always very in the moment.

And we are both really good in a serious crisis. We both get very calm and deal with whatever it is in the moment quite well.

So, we are both survivors and very practical about how we live our lives which is good.

So, What is real? Dreams or reality?

I guess depending upon how you are brought up almost anything might be true for you depending upon what culture you were raised in and who raised you.

So, from this point of view "Reality is Relative".
