For new College Graduates: You need a craft so you are needed so you can always get a job or start a business!

 what are crafts?

The easiest way to answer this question is: "My father trained me to be an electrician when I was 10 to 17 years old after school and summers so I would have a trade. At that time having more than one trade was important and this might be important now as well.

During the Great Depression for example, people with white collar jobs all got laid off and sometimes starved to death in tents at the edge of a river in encampments then or all alone.

So, my grandfather insisted that his 3 boys not go to college and instead work as electricians in his Electrical Contracting Business. So, his three sons always had cars, girlfriends, or wives always and always had a living that they could make. Why were they okay?

Because people rich and poor will ALWAYS need people who build or repair things to fix their homes and businesses. They will always need Electricians, They will always need Carpenters, they will Always need Plumbers and all of they other trades.

They will Always need Doctors, they will Always need Nurses, they will ALways need Lawyers.

So, if you want a job to survive these times you need s craft, Trade or skill that others do not have. 

In this way you will always be needed by society to help them and you will Always have money to live and not starve to death like many will worldwide in the coming years because of people like Trump and Xi and Putin.
