If you were wondering why I wasn't blogging yesterday it is because I was packing and driving north to the SF Bay area. Though Santa Barbara was foggy with high fog when we left by Buellton it was sunny and it remained sunny all the way to the northern California Coast near the ocean.
It was a beautiful trip with great sunny weather as soon as we got to Buellton all the way to the coast. And it was good to see that though the wild oats hills were turning more brown there also has been enough rain that the trees and bushes were still very green and lush. So, fire likely will be less of a problem at least along the coast of northern California this summer I'm thinking because we actually had enough rain for trees and bushes to be green.
