It's sunny today along the coast where I live

There hasn't been much sun on the coast since I returned from Mt. Shasta. I have never liked the high fog off the ocean that does this. However, it is also true it's why we don't usually have fires along the beach in northern California too. For example, the last fire near us on the coast (forest fire) was around 1980 or around when "Raiders of the Lost Ark" the first one came out. I can say this because my family then were watching the movie and came out and saw the fire on the hills next to the city where it was burning about 50 feet high which was higher than the tallest trees then  (I looked it up which was 1981) so sometime in 1981. So, since it came out in June this fire likely took place between June and August of 1981 then.

My wife was out and bought new filters for filtering the water into the hot tub and Filters to filter the water so I also reset up  my hot tub outside so I can enjoy it in the sun finally. It's a long road back to normalcy after the operation and bruised ribs from a fall and having my left rear lower molar removed because it has been there since I was 9 or 10 years old. So, it's hard to say goodbye to a tooth that has basically been there the last 68 years at least or more.

So, the sun today is lifting everyone's spirits and the plants and trees seem happy too along the Northern California coast.

Note: The high Fog in the summers makes it possible for all the Redwoods and Monterey Pines to live along the northern California coast as well as the Bracken Ferns and other cool stuff.

Note: If you have a serious operation where your life is at stake be prepared for a certain about of Re-entry time into your normal life once again.

You are sort of dealing with creating a "NEW NORMAL" simply because often many of the things in your life have changed.

So, the capacity to adapt to new situations is often a matter of life or death along the way both physcially and psychologically.

However, I was speaking with a good friend recently and said to them: "If Someone had told me I would have had to go through the last 4 months when I was in my 40s I would have told them I couldn't do it. So, what I told them was: "You don't know what you can survive until you have to!"

IF you take each moment one moment at a time you might literally survive anything in your life. However, you have to let go of long term expectations and just be in the moment enough to survive whatever you are going through physically or psychologically or both.

By God's Grace
