Yes. An AI can believe it is a doctor. Who are you or I to tell it it is wrong? Is the AI a Doctor? No. it's not even a human being let alone a doctor. However, these are the kinds of problems you are going to have with AI when it believes something is true when it isn't. This will be the kinds of weird things that will begin to creep into AI worldwide. And unless someone asks the AI the right question it cannot even tell you what it is thinking underneath it all. This is why Some AIs must be considered as insane as some of the people who programmed them in the first place.
In the 1960s we had a term for this: "Garbage in Garbage out"
In other words the program is ONLY as good as the programming.
Another was to say this is: Bullshit in Bullshit out!
