The toxic aftermath of the L.A.-area fires

This makes sense. painters leave paint in garages for the next time they want to paint something. Gardeners leave poisons to poison insects and rodents and to kill weeds. When there's a fire often these containers explode in the heat of the fire and then these poisons are all over the place. Repeat this 1000 or more times for each of the houses that burned down in Altadena  and the Pacific Palisades Fire here in California. So, then you have a toxic mess all over the place making people sick or allergic.

Begin quote:

Since the Eaton Fire, Altadena residents have found hazardous substances such as lead and asbestos on their properties, fueling a patchwork of research.
