So, for example, my wife was scared by the movie (not because it is inherently real in content) but because it was a somewhat horrific premise on many different levels. I found it both interesting but also funny but also disturbing on many different levels. So, I sent a link to this movie to all my kids to see what they thought. My Son who is almost 52 and very into AI as a hobby for Art and music said something like: "Why are you watching this there is no basis at all in fact?"
So, this made me think that this movie is to make people under 30 laugh a lot like a good comedy horror movie should while terrifying older people out of their minds with the subject of this movie if they watch it. This seems to be what is going on.
So, my reaction since I have been programming in various computer languages since about 1966 in College was to think it both humorous but also entertaining in a comedy Dystopian future way. So, by the time we both finished watching this we decided to watch one of the late night shows with Tom Hanks as a guest that I had DVRed last night to clear our minds of all the chaos in this movie.
So, if you are older this might scare you pretty bad and if you are younger and more familiar with the forms of AI you might laugh at lot. However, on some levels it is pretty entertaining too though the subject matter is somewhat disturbing given how people around the world feel about AI Presently because it might steal all their jobs. Experts say most jobs will go away within 3 to 20 years because of AI which is pretty ominous too. I think AI driving vehicles will be the biggest problem at first slowly or quickly worldwide. Imagine if all trucks were like Waymo with no drivers. Not sure I want to be driving anything myself on the road alongside Self Driving Semi Trucks ever!

Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die – 8.0 – Honestly this might be one of the
weirdest movies I’ve ever watched. That being said, I actually enjoyed
the ride, even though half the time I was just trying to figure out what
was even going on. It really feels like the director just went all-in
with an unfiltered vision and didn’t hold anything back. The whole thing
is bonkers, reality-bending, and completely unpredictable, but it kept
me engaged the entire time. This also feels like the type of movie that
could become a cult classic down the road, especially with how it leans
into themes around technology, AI, and the algorithm-driven chaos we’re
all living in. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re into something
different, it’s worth the watch, official sundaynightstreaming rating of
