The Technological Singularity doesn't just change everything in one day

It's more like a rocket Ship taking off from Cape Canaveral   only in slow motion.

So, it's sort of like right now the engines are just firing up but it won't make it up into space until 2050 or so and maybe later depending upon what happens here on Earth in the interim.

There are many variables in all of this too. What we all do (on many different levels) as humans will or can Change the Trajectory of the Rocket ship of AI taking off right now in Human History.

That's why it's much more likely to be sort of like Cell phones from the 1990s until now more than any other thing we have experienced so far except for maybe the Internet which also evolved in the same trajectory as the Smart phone and all Cell phones worldwide.

So, comparing Cell phones (of all kinds) including Satellite phones to the Internet also at the same time from the 1990s until now is what we might be experiencing from AI for the next 30 or more years too.

Just remember how the Wright Brothers first motorized flight led to Passenger Jets and flights to the moon with Astronauts and Space Stations in Space hovering above Earth.

AI is sort of the same as all these things and I think can be more usefully looked at in these contexts than in other contexts as of right now at least.
