Why is this?
I think that this is a time sort of if you combine Nixon and Watergate with the Kennedy Assassination where literally anything can happen not only here in the U.S. but also all over the world as well.
Governments all over the world (Not just the U.S. are flailing) European Governments might be failing. Trump is Failing all the people who voted for him and they are not just Frustrated they are down right Angry at all the lies he told everyone who voted for him and how much money he has grifted off the American people and how many people worldwide have died because of people like Trump and Musk so far since Trump was inaugurated.
So, it hasn't really ever been as crazy worldwide (watching governments collapse including our own) since Kennedy was Assassinated and Nixon had to resign because of Watergate and other lies.
We live in very perilous times and I'm reminded of this more by Halloween this year than any other Halloween in my entire life.
