The problem wouldn't be as bad except that Kelvin waves are making 5.67 foot and 5.84 feet high tides actually 7 foot high tides instead. Then when you add 12 to 15 foot waves to this constant high tide because of Kelvin Waves caused by the Super El Nino where the ocean level literally rises 1 to 1 1/2 feet from the beach as far as you can see you can see the problem we are dealing with now at high Tide. It also makes a super low tide as well for people who like Tide pooling as long as you aren't swept out by the 12 to 15 foot waves into the sea to get hypothermia and are dead within about 15 to 30 minutes time because of hallucinations from hypothermia. However, it is also true that oceans are 9 to 10 degrees warmer so that might save your life if the waves sweep you out to sea as well. However, there are a lot of rocks that could do you in from 15 foot waves sweeping you into them also. So, be careful Friday Saturday and Sunday anywhere on the coasts from at least Big Sur to north of San Francisco the next few days!
