My mother started going to movies around 1925 with her father and sisters in Seattle then

Since she was 5 or 6 years old they would walk from Alkai point then in the 1920s where they lived to the theaters usually I think on a Friday or Saturday night. My mother's mother was always a more Bible Reading kind of person and so prayed a lot and wasn't interested that much in movies like my mother's father and her and her sisters.

So, by the time I came along in 1948 I think maybe the first movie I can actually remember which was terrifying for a 4 year old because Bambi's mother dies was Disney's Bambi which actually changed the laws all over the U.S. regarding hunting Deer by the way. So, it became illegal to shoot does that were deer ever after that and you could ONLY hunt bucks (which makes sense because if you shot all the does and all the bucks then deer would be extinct now all over the U.S.

So, because of that we have a healthy deer population all over the U.S. because of that where some males survive to breed with the Does.

For example, when you drive through the Forest we live in often you have to watch for especially does and fawns year around and yearlings. So, you ALWAYS have to be on the lookout for them and because they are not allowed to be hunted in the forest where we live there are always a lot of them both bucks and does.

And people think deer are helpless but they are dangerous if you are not careful too in various ways.

For example, stay away from Does with Fawns because the Does hoofs are potentially fatal for a human being. I had one buck who was upset about something stamp his foot and it broke the cement in the shape of his hoof on my cement driveway. After this, I realized if a buck can break the cement in the shape of his hoof print then what would it do to a person? So, take seriously the danger you might be in from a doe with a baby or two or a buck with a full set of horns who knows how to use them.

So, when I came along at first there was no TV in our home until 1954 when I was 6 years old and then it was a 17 inch little black and white TV that I watched Superman and Cowboy movies on then and Disneyland (there were several versions of Disneyland under different names like "The wonderful world of Color) and others. I think the Disney series were always my favorite things to watch from age 6 to 10 or 12 years old.

But, it all started with my mother going to the movies at around age 5 years old with my grandfather and her two sisters in Seattle Washington.

So, then in the 1950s my mother and grandmother would watch movies from the 20s to the 40s while I was growing up and then jack Lalane had an exercise show on TV locally in Los Angeles that my mother and I would work out with too to stay in shape every morning that we could, especially during summers if I wasn't working with my Dad in his Electrical Contracting Business all over Los Angeles County from about 1960 to 1965 when I went away for my senior year to a private school in Santa Fe, New Mexico in Fall of 1965 until May of 1966 when I graduated there and then returned to Los Angeles County in California.
