When I was young I believed in complete honesty but then I saw how it hurt and harmed some people who could not survive complete honesty. So by age 25 I learned to either keep my mouth shut or to reserve honesty for people who needed honesty not to harm others every day of their lives.
So, honesty is a sword of truth that can kill or maim, but sometimes used effectively it prevents extinction of the whole human race and unneeded wars and maimings of unlimited people.
So, I think in life learning when complete honesty is needed to preserve lives is important to all our survival as a human race here on earth or as we move to other planets and dimensions as a race.
