The U.S. and Europe hesitated to kill thousands of Innocents

But Russia historically doesn't care about the collateral damage of civilians. IF even one Syrian Rebel or ISIS member is among hundreds of civilians of men, women and children they have no problem killing them all. It is just the way Russia has always done things historically.

The Chinese are just like this too by the way in case you wondered.

So, by the U.S. letting Russia do this to Syrians is a bad thing. This is true.

However, another way to look at it is that order might be better than chaos which has been destroying the capacity of anyone at all to ever live in Syria ever again. The ecological and cultural devastation of Syria is almost now complete. It won't be safe to live there in many places ever again. Even if one put nuclear radiation in some places it wouldn't be any worse than ecologically the way it is right now.

And Russia might be doing this too by the way. There is no one on the ground with Geiger counters to even know whether this is happening too in their munitions.

So, is this the end of ISIS too?

Maybe it is the end of ISIS in Syria only. But, remember ISIS is in at least 60 countries around the world right now. Even if they are driven out of Syria or completely killed there they are still going to be running drugs and selling human organs from those they have executed and killing Rhinos in Africa for their 1000 dollar a pound horns and all sorts of other crazy stuff including kidnapping for ransom people all over the world.

So, likely this isn't the end of ISIS but likely it will be in Syria and eventually IRaq too with Iran and Russia's help and the U.S. help there too.

But then, they are in 60 other countries too. So, this is going to be a long hard slog just like with Al Qaeda after 9-11 until the end of Osama Bin Laden. But, Al Qaeda is still around too isn't it?

So, what is accomplished by all this?

Nothing really. Just order without human rights at all in Syria with hundreds of thousands or more now dead on all sides. Nothing at all has been resolved (or will it be now for hundreds of years) the way this looks now.
