First, genetics play a part, then disposition, then education, exercise, diet, belief system but first you have to first make it to 30. For example, in the U.S. if you make it to 30 you likely can expect to make it to 90. However, that doesn't mean you won't do something stupid and die before your time either. Or someone else might do something stupid while you are riding in their car, plane or train too.
So, a great deal of it is learning to be in the right place at the right time always. My idea of this is the best way for this to happen is to own your own business so you have the most amount of freedom to choose how you spend your time. Or more specifically when you do what.
Now this might seem like a small thing to you but in the course of a lifetime it is a very big thing. By owning your own business or businesses it can give you a great amount of both freedom and creativity if you structure your life for creativity. Creativity tends to allow a person to be the most happy with their lives in the short and long run as long as they also are getting enough exercise and their diet is good and they keep their health on an even keel and keep their minds sharp and resilient enough to go the distance in life. If you are having fun being alive then you are more likely to live a long long time.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
