I think you are going to see this sort of thing more and more with self driving cars of people sticking their feet out the windows, making love while their car is driving itself, having arguments, watching TV etc.
This is just the start of it now not the end of this sort of thing.
The problem with this situation is that Tesla's self driving package is not designed to be "fool proof".
What I mean by this is it isn't designed to not be watched like a hawk unless you want to die.
Just because you are so technologically inadequate that you asked the wrong questions "like the guys in the 2nd "Anchorman" movie where one of them believes the Cruise control is going to drive the Motor home. ha ha.
People who don't read the fine print are just going to be dead in Tesla's and that's all if they keep doing this. and this is also true of all "Partially self driving cars like Teslas.
Basically, the way a Tesla works "The last time I rode in my Cousins Tesla S or drove it" was that you push a button or series of steps and it follows the car in front of you at a safe distance by checking the dotted white lines and the distances between the cars in front of the Tesla and the distances on the sides.
Can one avoid and accident while it is self driving? Likely the answer is both Yes and NO.
So, you better be watching what is going on and not having your feet out the window or else you and your passengers soon could be dead!
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
