Relieving Stress

Relieving Stress is often about whether you emotionally, mentally or physically survive in your lives. However, often when people use legal or illegal medications to relieve stress they only compound their problems. Because what has happened is that the normal mental, emotional, and physical balance(in otherwords how all your organs and cells interract) has been altered for one or more days.

So, unless your diet, your exercise and your emotional and mental states all find a way to a more useful balance you likely aren't going to be making useful decisions.

Many people today are choosing Mood Altering drugs legally prescribed as an alternative to counseling which they consider to be more expensive with questionable results. However, mood altering drugs do NOT alter the problems causes, they only alter your reactions to them. So, for example, if you were standing in the middle of the street and a car or truck was bearing down on you you might be happy as it kills you. But as for actually getting upset enough to get out of the way of the car or truck, the mood altering drug does nothing. So, viewing them in this way is actually more practical in the end.

The only useful way to use Mood Altering drugs might be as an alternative to suicide. But even then one must realize they are doing a self lobotomy for the sake of family and friends who would be upset and maybe kill themselves if that person offed themself.

So, in looking at it in this way mood altering drugs only make societal problems worse for everyone in the long run. Because the problem isn't solved it is only hidden from.

So, how does one do something useful?

Studying diet is one of the first things one can do. By understanding diet and exercise and the part the two play in all this one is ahead of the game. By exercising by walking or running one can stimulate endorphins to give one a feeling of well being in a natural way. By not eating too much processed white sugar or white flour products or white rice one avoids hypoglycemia and diabetes. The spiking of sugar and the spiking of refined sugar, white flour and white rice and other processed foods are the primary cause of hypoglycemia and diabetes in people worldwide.

Once one understands this one can have the mental clarity to avoid mood altering drugs as well. For, processed foods and fast foods along with white sugar and white flour and hulled white rice are all in the same league with mood altering drugs.

What do all these things have in common?

The problem is that they are all a type of poison to the human race. They are like adding a little rat poison to your food and then eating them every day. It is a slow and painful and unfortunate death even though it may last 70 years.

The alternative is studying about what mental and physical health is and what will bring that into your lives. So, in the end stress relief begins with diet and exercise. Meditation would be good along with some Tai Chi as well.
