Picture of Lanai Island taken near Molokini

This is a photo of Lanai in the background and Molokini which is a favorite free  diving and Scuba diving location because of the abundance of life near this horseshoe shaped little uninhabited island.

Where I went free diving was about 1/4 of the way across Lanai at a couple of spots from the left. To your right outside of this picture is Maui and beyond Maui would be Molokai then Oahu and the Kuaui to the north. To your right is east. You are looking sort of North in this photo.

After looking more carefully at Google Maps Lanai looks to be WNW and Maui being a relatively big island is to your SE, East, and North East as well as due north from this location, wheras Molokai is northwest, then further northwest is Oahu and then further Northwest is Kuaui island as well.
