Psychological Singularity?

I woke up this morning realizing that December 21st 2012 is a symbolic date much like a person, (or the entire human race turning 30). I was thinking that it is an important marker for everyone on earth. So, the marker is something like the human race turning 30 where you are sad that your youth is gone and now you are a full fledged adult often married with babies or young kids at that point in life. (And yet I remember my 30s as the physically happiest time of my life. However, psychologically the happiest time of my life has been since I was 50). Life is speeding up now in exponential ways. In ten years you will be 40 with even more things to deal with. At 20 you might be sad that your high school days are gone or not depending upon the person. And I think the human race in general hit 20 around the 1700s to the 1900s (depending upon the area of earth) when electricity was discovered and starting to be used, when the steam engine was harnessed both on land and sea, when the gasoline and diesel engine was created and changed transportation forever, when electric motors and electric lights were invented and changed the world forever so night could also be like day some places all the time or whenever we wanted.

So, it was very clear to me that December 21st 2012 is the human race turning 30 (with everything both good and bad when someone actually does turn 30) and 40 will be the actual technical "Singularity" which could occur literally at any and all points between now and 2045. As you can see it is all very "speeded up" now to the next marker because 40 could now occur technically at any and all points.

So, since the human race is turning 30, maybe a "Happy Birthday" party for the human race is in order on the actual December 21st 2012?
