The Hobbit: 2nd time
My wife hadn't been to "The Hobbit": the movie yet but my son and I and my younger daughter had. So, today a group of our friends and one of their daughters went to a showing and I joined them along with my wife. I think I actually enjoyed it more the 2nd time than the first time last Friday Night because I was able to look for artistic details more about how the men (the Dwarves) were very ornate in the way they wore their beards and hair and each one's get up matched to some degree each ones personality. So, both individually and together they were quite a group. Bilbo, was the most like a civilian in the group and the rest were all very efficient blue collar type craftsmen and warriors ready for anything. Then there was the Dwarf King who really stood out as a real leader though in an entirely different way than Gandalf. Also, the Brown Wizard was even more funny and intriguing the second time than the first time I saw him. I also enjoyed the elves more this time as well and I was less upset about "The Hobbit" being cut into 3 movies and began to accept that too because of the attention to detail in this movie that I found especially the second time very satisfying.
