38 degrees Fahrenheit

Though it isn't unusual to get temperatures here (once or twice during the winter) this low it only happens about a week or two at most a year. It's after midnight and it's supposed to go down to about 36 degrees but if it is already midnight likely it will get down lower than that. I sort of worry about fruits and vegetables in the state with temperatures like this so many days in a row, especially when so much of the central part of the nation isn't getting rain at all. So, much of the crops grown this winter in California might be ruined as well as temperatures stay this low at night this week.

Californians braces for freezing temps, snow

I looked online and saw that Mt. Shasta where I used to live is supposed to get down to 16 degrees Fahrenheit tonight as well.

Later: When I woke up Sunday Morning at 9 am it was 33 degrees and Sunny. So, it went lower than the weather forcasts said.

Later still: What's even more amazing to me is that it is now almost noon and it is still 39 degrees Fahrenheit. I don't think I've ever seen anything like this on the Northern California coast ever where I live.
