Every penny the price of gas goes up costs the U.S. $4,000,000

Even though this is true it is very unfortunate and likely figures into why Obama didn't blow up Syria last night. Two things have been caused economically by Obama saying he wants to bomb Syria (cruise missile Syria). The price of oil has been going up and the stock market has lost a lot of points. And I was listening to someone recently say it is wiping out most of the gains this year so far. However, this always happens when the U.S. sends missiles in somewhere on earth. So, this is nothing new. A better question might be "When will it all be over?"

That is actually a very complex problem. Though nations are in denial still at this point, Russia is now acting pretty much like it did during the Cold War. And Obama just wasn't prepared for this on top of everything else. Obama is not a throwback to the 1950s like Putin is. Putin is all KGB just like they used to be and also believes that the worst thing that happened in the 20th century was the collapse of the Soviet Union. So, someone like that trying to deal with a real progressive like Obama really doesn't work. Obama is a leader for peacetime and really isn't a very useful wartime president. However, I bet Bush before Obama wanted to be a peace time president too.

The problem as I see it is everyone is in denial of what Russia is doing while it is acting like it is the 1950s during the Cold War Again. No one on earth wants to go back to those days so everyone is pretending Russia isn't doing this. But, political correctness taken this far is only "Living in Denial" for the whole western world at a certain point. How many people are going to be gassed and die of various atrocities before they deal with all this head on?

And "Yes!" by the way folks what is happening now regarding Syria, Russia and Iran, is the most serious world problem we have had to deal with since the old Soviet Union collapsed around 1990. So, thinking this is all simple to fix means you are not a student of history.

Maybe you should read this to get a better idea of what is actually going on now:
